Dillon Danis won’t be fighting Mike Perry after all.

Danis was supposed to face Perry on Saturday in Orlando, Florida, in an MMA fight. Yet, just two days before the fight, Danis has pulled out and has been replaced by UFC veteran Brandon Jenkins.

Dillon Danis is 2-0 as a pro MMA fighter, but he hasn’t fought since June of 2019, when he submitted Max Humphrey in the first round at Bellator 222. Danis did have an exhibition MMA bout, winning the Misfits light heavyweight championship with a submission win over Warren Spencer in 15 seconds last August. He also boxed Logan Paul in October of 2023 and was DQ’d in the final round, as he was en route to a decision loss.

Although Danis pulled out, Mike Perry will remain on the card and will face Brandon Jenkins, who is a UFC veteran. Jenkins went 0-2 in the UFC and last fought on the MVP card, beating Chris Avila by decision. Jenkins is 17-11 as an MMA fighter and has also competed in BKFC, Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA, and Karate Combat.

As for Mike Perry, he’s 15-8 as a pro MMA fighter and is coming off a TKO win over Nate Diaz in his return to MMA on the MVP card. Perry was fighting in BKFC, where he went 6-0 with wins over Jeremy Stephens, Luke Rockhold, Michael Page, and Eddie Alvarez, among others.

After Danis withdrew from the fight, Perry spoke to reporters and blasted Danis for pulling out of the fight.

“Let’s not beat around the bush,” Perry said. “This p*ssy-ass b*tch Dillon Danis didn’t show the f*ck up. He’s not here. He backed the f*ck out because he’s a p*ssy.”

Perry, meanwhile, also complimented Jenkins for stepping up to take the fight.

“I want to give a shout out to my new opponent Brandon Jenkins. He’s getting on a plane right now. He’s flying here to weigh in the morning like a professional and fight me on Saturday night,” Perry added.
