NAGOYA, Japan — Leaders from the international and Asian volleyball communities came together in Komaki, Nagoya, during the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, joining fans and athletes for the volleyball competition.

FIVB President Fabio Azevedo, FIVB General Director Steve Tutton and Volleyball Federation of Chad President General Idriss Dokony Adiker were welcomed by AVC President Ramon Suzara and AVC Secretary General Hugh Graham as they attended the volleyball action at Park Arena Komaki.

The visit brought together key leaders from the FIVB, AVC and the wider global volleyball community during one of Asia’s major multi-sport events.

The officials watched the competition and experienced the atmosphere inside the venue as teams from across the continent continued their campaigns at the Asian Games.

Their presence also highlighted the close relationship between the global and continental volleyball communities and their shared commitment to supporting the continued growth and visibility of the sport.
