Miikka Muurinen has been cleared to play for Arkansas this upcoming season, head coach John Calipari announced on X.

"You probably heard Miikka has been cleared," Calipari said. "What a meeting I was able to have with him to say, 'You've been cleared to play.' Hugged each other, tears in his eyes. When his teammates found out, you saw how excited they are."

Murrinen was part of Arkansas' top-ranked recruiting class.

The center attended multiple high schools in the United States before signing with Partizan Belgrade in Serbia.

Murrinen is one of four five-star prospects in this year's recruiting class for Arkansas.

Arkansas is ranked No. 10 in ESPN's Top 25.
