Mitchell Robinson and the Boston Celtics have agreed to a three-year, $47.4 million contract with a player option in Year 3. The Celtics have prioritized adding size to their team and they do so by signing Robinson away from the New York Knicks.

Robinson will be signed by the Celtics using their non-taxpayer midlevel exception.

Robinson appeared in 60 games last season with the Celtics, averaging 5.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 19.6 minutes.
