Tottenham Hotspur's priority ahead of 2027 should already be an open secret. They need goalscorers and they need them desperately. The Lilywhites have scored just two goals in the Premier League so far this season and both of those came in a 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa before the international break.
New signings Omar Marmoush and Savio are yet to find the back of the net and those who invested so heavily in transforming Roberto De Zerbi's side in the summer will be starting to panic.
Anything other than victory against newly-promoted Coventry City after the international break and De Zerbi will be a man under pressure.
Results have been incredibly alarming, but Spurs still have faith in their manager for the time being. Having only avoided relegation on the final day of last season, those in North London always knew that there would be no easy fix.
If De Zerbi lasts until the January transfer window, then he could receive the backing of ENIC once again to add goals to this current Tottenham side.
To that end, names like Dani Olmo have threatened to steal the headlines, but Spurs could have their sights set on a Bundesliga star instead of the Barcelona attacker.
The Lilywhites have instead turned their focus towards Eintracht Frankfurt star Younes Ebnoutalib, who has made an excellent start to the campaign and even earned his first call-up to Jurgen Klopp's Germany side.

REUTERS/Kai PfaffenbachAs reported by TeamTalk, Tottenham are now plotting a move to sign Ebnoutalib from Frankfurt in the January transfer window. The North London side have been tracking his progress and will be pleased to see that he's even been praised by Klopp in recent weeks.
The Germany manager told reporters after calling the forward up to the national side for the first time: "I saw his first game of the season for Eintracht and said to myself, ‘What a player! Where did they find him?’ There was no discussion among the coaching staff. We all immediately agreed: ‘Yes, we have to include him.’"
Also dubbed "incredible" by scout Jacek Kulig, this is very much Ebnoutalib's year. Standing at 6'3, the forward has scored five goals in five games for Frankfurt this season, which included a hat-trick against Union Berlin on the opening day.
Tottenham need consistency and goals. Ebnoutalib has offered exactly that in Germany this season all whilst earning impressive praise. If there is a chance to snap up his signature, then the Lilywhites must take it in January.
