With the MLB All-Star Game in the rearview mirror, the second half of the 2026 season and the race to the trade deadline can officially begin. 

The Milwaukee Brewers made the first move, acquiring  veteran starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. from the Houston Astros. McCullers has a long injury history that has extended into this season, limiting him to eight starts so far in 2026. He hasn’t been particularly effective over the past two campaigns after missing all of 2023 and 2024, posting a 6.86 ERA in 39 1/3 innings this year. 

But the first-place Brewers have had starters miss time with injury, and as a two-time World Series champion, McCullers Jr. has big game experience that could come in handy for Milwaukee over the next few months.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. McCullers is one of 25 pitchers in MLB history to record 10 strikeouts without allowing a walk or a run in a postseason game. How many of those pitchers can you name in five minutes?
