Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki has reinforced its lineup for the 2027 SMX World Championship, adding Nate Thrasher to the team's five-man roster. Thrasher will compete next to Levi Kitchen, Seth Hammaker, Nick Romano and Drew Adams.

Thrasher joins with seven wins and 13 podiums in 54 250SX starts. Fourth in 2025's 250SX East championship marks his best season rank, although he has come close to matching the score with a brace of fifths in 2024 and 2026. Thrasher had spent the entirety of his professional career, from 2021 to the conclusion 2026, with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing.

Elsewhere, Kitchen returns to the team with his maiden number one plate after that 250SMX success (ten career victories underline his position as team leader). Five-time race victor Hammaker will attempt to achieve a similar feat after near misses in recent seasons, whilst Romano and Adams try to stabilize their respective careers under the tutelage of Mitch Payton.

"Going into 2027, we have a lot of momentum to build on with Levi coming off his SMX World Championship and Seth continuing to show his championship capabilities. I believe this off-season will give each of our riders the time they need to recover, reset, and dial in their programs for the upcoming year. The 2027 Monster Energy AMA Supercross will start on January 09 while the 250SX East division will launch in Tampa, Florida, on February 06. Coast designations have yet to be finalized by the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team.
