UFC legend Henry Cejudo called for dramatic changes to MMA judging after watching Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong at UFC 332.

Natalia Silva and Wang Cong wrapped up an eventful night at UFC 332 with a five-round vacant flyweight title fight. After five rounds of back-and-forth action, Silva won the vacant flyweight title by unanimous decision to cap off her remarkable run in the Octagon.

Silva put on a largely dominant performance against Cong to win the belt. Despite her dominance on the stat sheet and in the eyes of many fans, Silva earned a narrow 48-47 win on two of the three judges’ scorecards.

One UFC legend believes the UFC 332 main event scorecards showed an urgent need to change how fights are judged.

Henry Cejudo calls for ‘AI judging’ in brutal takedown of Natalia Silva/Wang Cong cards

During a recent episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast, former two-division champ Henry Cejudo slammed the Silva vs. Cong scorecards.

“We’ve got to start getting AI to start doing this s—, it’s a bunch of f—— old people judging that are just in boxing, dude, like f—, it’s ridiculous,” Cejudo said of the Silva vs. Cong scorecards.

“You don’t think we have the technology to score a fight based on that? I think it’s f—— there. I put my trust in AI before I put my trust in these f—— judges. I think you put a chip in the f—— gloves and then you see the precision that’s actually hitting a body part. You’d be able to track it through infrared lighting to where, if someone buckles, of course, you act like this is far-fetched; this is 2026…

“It’s just a matter of time, and I’m excited for the next wave of getting the actual winners,” Cejudo continued on Silva vs. Cong. “Too many people have been robbed in fights, and it’s because sometimes the lack of knowledge from judges, or there’s emotion involved, that’s something you’ve got to consider too.” (h/t Bloody Elbow)
