We have you covered for all of tonight’s UFC Sacramento results, including the heavyweight co-main event between Serghei Spivac and Vitor Petrino.

Spivac (18-6 MMA) was most previously seen in action this past February at UFC Houston, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Ante Delija. That win snapped a two-fight losing skid for the ‘Polar Bear’, who had dropped fights to Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Jailton Almeida in his prior Octagon appearances.

Meanwhile, Vitor Petrino (14-2 MMA) will enter this evening’s co-main attraction sporting a three-fight winning streak, with his most recent victory coming over Steven Asplund this past March in Las Vegas. Prior to that decision win, ‘Cabuloso’ was coming off back-to-back stoppage victories against opponents Austen Lane and Thomas Petersen respectively.

Round one of the UFC Sacramento co-main event begins and Petrino gets things started with a pair of low kicks. Serghei Spivac is pressing forward but hasn’t thrown anything just yet. Another low kick from Petrino draws a straight right from the ‘Polar Bear’ that just misses. A jab and then a hook from Vitor, but neither shot connects. Petrino with another jab and this time it lands flush. Spivac answers with a good left and now a stiff jab. Vitor Petrino with a hard kick to the body. He looks for another, but Spivac slips out of the way. Both men with jabs in the pocket. Petrino with a front kick that is partially blocked. He lands an inside low kick. Spivac with a combination attempt, but nothing lands. Petrino looks to counter but also misses. A good low kick from Vitor. 10 seconds remain. Spivac with a head kick attempt. Petrino blocked most of that. The horn sounds to end the opening round.

Round two of the UFC Sacramento co-headliner begins and Vitor Petrino comes out winging shots. He shoots in for a takedown. Serghei Spivac stops the first attempt, but a quick second entry and Petrino has the Russian down. ‘Cabuloso’ is landing some big shots as Spivac is pressed against the cage. The crowd is growing restless, but Vitor is landing and staying busy. He moves to full mount now. More big shots. Serghei Spivac gives up his back. Vitor Petrino looks to setup a choke but he’s to high on the back and the ‘Polar Bear’ slips out and escapes to his feet. Spivac with a 1-2. The horn sounds to end the second round.

The third and final round of this heavyweight matchup begins and both men come out swinging. Serghei Spivac with a big shot. He lands another. Vitor Petrino desperately shoots in for a takedown attempt. He presses the ‘Polar Bear’ against the cage and is able to drag him down to the canvas. Petrino with one hook in while softening Spivac up with punches from his back. The Russian looks to scramble. He gets up for a second but is quickly dragged right back to the floor. Petrino seemingly allows Spivac back to his feet. Both men start throwing heavy strikes. A pair of low kicks land for Vitor Petrino. Now a hook over the top. Just over one minute remains in the fight. Serghei Spivac badly misses with two punches in a row. He looks exhausted after carrying Petrino’s weight for most of the round. Vitor continues to slip and rip. The horn sounds to end what should be a clear cut win for Petrino.
