Notable omissions: European team event champions France are not entered in the team event. Was there some administrative error?

Side note: The All Africa Junior Championships (team and individual) are also being played at the same venue in the two weeks before the World Junior Championships start. That's a long trip for the African countries.

Group E: Surprise Asian Junior Silver Medalists Hong Kong most likely against Korea. Difficult to predict this one. Korea performed surprisingly played poorly in the Asian Junior Championships. The rankings of the Korean team are so low that the team were ranked 15th seeds

Group F: I actually think USA could put up a tough fight and push Chinese Taipei quite hard depending on if the strongest USA players are going. Some of the most senior players in USA (and Canada) skip the WJC because they have already started tertiary education
