Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri is not picking his next opponent, and he is not entertaining talk of an immediate rematch either.

The newly minted ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion captured the title with a hard-fought unanimous decision over Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon in the main event of The Inner Circle 30, which streamed exclusively for subscribers from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium this past Friday, September 11.

Rambolek pushed an intense pace through the opening three rounds, landing heavy artillery and forcing Yod-IQ to work for every inch, before the challenger’s superior conditioning pulled him away down the stretch of the five-round contest. The victory made him the fourth man to hold the belt since Jonathan Haggerty dethroned longtime titleholder Nong-O Hama via first-round knockout in April 2023.

“After three rounds, I still felt it was 50/50. As the challenger facing an established champion, you don’t take anything for granted,” Yod-IQ said. “I think the last two rounds proved that I can take a shot without getting dropped. Once I survived the middle rounds on my feet, I knew I had done enough to secure the win.”

Adjusting to the physical demands of five-round title fights, rather than his usual three-round pace, is already his next priority as he settles into the champion’s seat. The searing pace and intensity required across a 15-minute battle differs wildly from the shorter sprints that defined his earlier promotional run.

“It’s completely different. You need a massive amount of endurance, which means training much harder,” he said.

“Whoever Chatri [Sityodtong] sets up for me, I’m ready. I don’t think an immediate rematch is on the table just yet, so I’ll likely face someone else first.”
