Presented by FXR Racing: The 450 class heads to Millville with the championship battle as close as it can possibly get. Jett Lawrence reclaimed the red plate at Southwick with 2-1 moto scores, while Hunter Lawrence’s 1-4 finish left the brothers separated by just one point entering Spring Creek. Millville’s steep hills, long ruts and constantly changing lines will make qualifying especially important as the riders search for a comfortable setup before the track becomes increasingly rough. The field also gets another major addition this weekend, as Eli Tomac returns for his first start of the 2026 season following an extended recovery from a neck injury. With Jett and Hunter fighting for control of the championship and Tomac back behind the gate, the opening qualifying sessions should provide an early look at who is ready to attack one of the most demanding tracks on the schedule.

450 SESSION 2 QUALIFYING RESULTS
Haiden Deegan was able to grab a faster time over Jett Lawrence.
The battle at the front once again came down to the Lawrence brothers and Haiden Deegan, with all three riders trading fast laps throughout the final session. Jett Lawrence’s morning nearly took an early turn when he went down, but he quickly remounted and returned to the track without allowing the mistake to derail his qualifying effort. Jett continued to build his pace and eventually worked his way into third. Deegan moved to the top of the leaderboard early and appeared capable of finishing the morning as the fastest rider, but Hunter Lawrence had another lap in reserve. Hunter found the speed he needed late in the session, taking control of the top position and setting the fastest time of the morning. With Hunter leading Deegan and Jett at the end of qualifying, the three riders appear set for another close battle when the gates drop for the opening moto.

450 SESSION 1 QUALIFYING RESULTS
Haiden Deegan takes the pole position in heat one.
The pace remained close throughout the entire session, with Haiden Deegan, Jett Lawrence and Hunter Lawrence separated by only fractions of a second near the top of the leaderboard. Deegan eventually put together the lap he needed and moved into the number-one position, posting a time that proved too difficult for anyone else to match. He held the fastest time for the final seven minutes as the Lawrence brothers continued searching for an answer. Jett remained close in second, while Hunter held onto third, but neither rider was able to improve enough to knock Deegan from the top spot. When the checkered flag came out, Deegan completed the opening qualifying session as the fastest rider ahead of Jett and Hunter.
