Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayJoel Embiid said that he felt "pretty good, not bad" following the Philadelphia 76ers' annual intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday.
Embiid, who played 38 games last season, came to training camp noticeably slimmed-down.
LeBron James also noted Embiid's health during training camp.
"The difference between '24 and now, he's just so much more healthier," James said. "He hasn't missed a practice. He's been in damn near everything that we've done. Pretty much. They've had to sit him out at times, even when he wanted to keep going."
Embiid then discussed the variety in the Sixers' offense.
"Guys are going to use their speed against people and try to score a quick basket, and if we don't have anything, I'm the trail guy," added Embiid.
The Sixers begin their four-game preseason schedule on Monday against the Knicks.
