Robbie is the Assistant Editor at Football FanCast.
Having graduated from the University of Exeter in 2020, Robbie spent time working as an intern or in freelance positions across a variety of sites, including at 90min, producing news and feature content related to clubs in the Premier League, EFL, SPFL and in Europe.
Robbie subsequently spent over a year working as a news, features and opinion writer at Football Faithful, primarily focused on the Premier League and Manchester United, in particular.
After beginning life at Football FanCast as part of the company's academy set-up in 2022, Robbie has risen through the ranks to now taking on the role of Assistant Editor since October 2023, having also been part of the Exclusives team in the past.
Across the last few years, Robbie has covered Manchester United, Celtic and Rangers on a regular basis, alongside a raft of other clubs, boasting an in-depth knowledge of the Premier League, EFL and Scottish football in general.
Robbie is a Manchester United fan, but also has a particular fondness for both Celtic and Wycombe Wanderers, taking in a multitude of home and away games for the Chairboys over the last two decades.
It's an era obsessed with young, up-and-coming signings and talk of 'resale value', but that overlooks the primary motivation for a club like Glasgow Rangers - winning now.
Well, under Derek McInnes' watch, the Ibrox side doesn't appear to be leaving anything to chance in their pursuit of immediate success next season.
In a league and a city where second is last, the Glasgow side now look well placed to mount a Premiership title bid, following a raft of experienced, proven signings in recent weeks.
The latest of those, Cammy Devlin, is yet another to have been poached from Hearts following last season's near miss at Tynecastle, with the 28-year-old set to be part of a midfield overhaul this summer.
What Cammy Devlin will bring to Rangers
The Gers have already brought in Dan Neil on a free transfer from Sunderland, after Tochi Chukwuani's January arrival, yet the midfield needs depth and quality, not least if a string of names are to depart.
There are doubts surrounding Mohamed Diomande's future after he started just 20 Premiership games last season, while Connor Barron and Nicolas Raskin are courting interest from Bologna and Hull City, respectively.
Bringing Devlin into the fold, following the expiry of his Tynecastle deal, is an astute move in that sense, the diminutive Aussie having been so influential under McInnes in 2025/26.
Selected as part of the Socceroos' World Cup squad, albeit while having not featured at all in the tournament, Devlin is a real terrier-like midfielder, someone who can perhaps fill Raskin's shoes in that regard.
Last term, for instance, he only scored twice in 28 league outings, yet averaged a mammoth 6.1 tackles and interceptions per game, while winning 8.1 total duels on average.
For context, no player made more tackles in the entire division than the new Rangers man (113).

Having failed to provide an assist, while creating only one 'big chance ', it's Devlin's work out of possession that will be the key feature of his game at Ibrox.
Might the Gers also need someone who can dictate the tempo alongside him?
How Rangers could sign an instant Devlin upgrade
With Neil and Devlin in the building, McInnes and co are also looking for youth to supplement them, amid interest in both Vanja Dragojevic and Jens Hjerto-Dahl.
That's not to say they can't also consider more experienced signings too, with there also a raft of players within the Premiership that might be in the equation.
It was reported earlier this summer that talks had been held regarding a deal for Motherwell's Elliot Watt, the 26-year-old enjoying his own fine season last time out.
While there have been rumours that the Scot might be on his way to Turkey instead, the door is still open for Rangers to pounce, with Watt looking so impressive at Fir Park.
He might even represent an upgrade on Devlin, not least having been hailed as the "best midfielder in the league" by writer and analyst Kai Watson.
That praise isn't without merit, with Watt looking like such a composed, controlled figure in his deep-lying berth, certainly a different profile of midfielder to the workmanlike Devlin.
Indeed, across the entire division, the Motherwell star ranked second only to Celtic's Liam Scales in terms of accurate passes (2347), while Devlin ranked in 16th.
Watt also has the edge in an attacking sense, having scored and assisted nine goals, while creating five 'big chances' and averaging 1.1 key passes, with Devlin only averaging 0.7 in that latter metric.
It's also worth noting that the Well playmaker also chips in defensively too, having averaged 3.3 tackles and interceptions, while actually bettering Devlin in terms of ball recoveries (7.1 vs 6.7).
As a player who ranked tenth in the Premiership for total tackles made, it's not as if Watt is against putting his foot in defensively, with there arguably a completeness to his game that Devlin just does not possess.
Devlin, of course, does boast the benefit of having flourished under McInnes already, but Rangers shouldn't rule out the opportunity of moving for Watt as well, particularly if the likes of Raskin and Barron are to head for the exit door.
What is clear, regardless, is that there is something exciting being built at Ibrox, with McInnes assembling an experienced spine that might well put Rangers firmly in contention again.
