Orgo-Life the new way to the future

  Advertising by Adpathway

Following successful Test campaigns, West Indies and New Zealand now shift their focus to the 50-over format as they prepare to face each other in a five-match ODI series in the Caribbean. The series begins on July 12, with the opening three matches scheduled to be played at the Guyana National Stadium in Guyana before the action moves to the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, for the final two fixtures.

West Indies will be eager to continue their impressive run at home after securing an ODI series victory over Sri Lanka. Led by Shai Hope, the hosts possess a balanced squad featuring dependable batters like Keacy Carty, Sherfane Rutherford and Justin Greaves, while the pace attack will once again be spearheaded by Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph and Jayden Seales. Spin responsibilities will largely rest on Gudakesh Motie and Roston Chase.

New Zealand arrive in the Caribbean on the back of a commanding Test series triumph over England and will be aiming to carry that momentum into white-ball cricket. Mitchell Santner leads an experienced squad that includes Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Will Young and Michael Bracewell. Their pace department will rely on Jacob Duffy, Nathan Smith and Ben Lister, while uncapped pacer Matthew Fisher has earned his maiden ODI call-up.

With both teams looking to build momentum ahead of future international assignments, the five-match series promises to deliver an exciting battle between two well-balanced sides.
