The Minnesota Timberwolves are expected to trade Josh Green following the signing of Jonathan Kuminga, sources told Jon Krawczynski and Sam Amick of The Athletic.

With Kuminga signing a two-year, $13 million deal, the Wolves will need to shed $3 million in salary to stay under the second apron.

Green, who is making $14.6 million next season, averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds last season.

The Wolves could also waive and stretch Green's salary.
