Belgium has won the Motocross of Nations in Ernée, with Liam Everts finishing fourth and Lucas Coenen fifth in the final race, keeping Spain 3 points behind. The Netherlands ended up in third place.
Jeffrey Herlings claimed the third race, MXGP-OPEN. The Dutchman fell early while riding in 3rd place and had to restart the race from 8th. Herlings managed to close an 11-second gap to leader Jorge Prado and then won with a 12-second lead. Prado finished second ahead of Romain Febvre, Liam Everts, and Lucas Coenen. With 1-1, Herlings won the Open class, Jorge Prado was the best MXGP rider twice and won his class.
Roan van de Moosdijk had to start from the back of the pack and fought his way back to 18th place.
The Chamberlain Trophy went to Belgium ahead of Spain and the Netherlands. Latvia impressively came fourth, and the USA finished fifth.
