Jeffrey Herlings won the second race at the Motocross of Nations in Ernee with a display of sheer power. The Dutchman finished 35 seconds ahead of second place Andrea Adamo. The Italian managed to hold off Pauls Jonass and Liam Everts just behind him. Guillem Farres secured a neat fifth place on his MX2 bike. The Spaniard was the strongest MX2 rider in both races and won the MX2 class.
In the opening lap, there was more drama for the French team. Tom Vialle took the holeshot but crashed badly after a long jump and had to leave the race. During this incident, Herlings barely managed to avoid the bike of his Honda teammate. Spain also faced setbacks, as Garcia had to leave the race due to mechanical problems.
After two races, the standings are as follows: Belgium is in first place with 26 points, the Netherlands second with 33 points and Spain 3rd with 47 points.
