The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard Lamont Butler. The Hawks also requested waivers on forward Keyshawn Bryant.

Butler, most recently signed by the Hawks on Oct. 13, 2025, and waived on Oct. 18, 2025.

The 6-2 guard missed the 2025-26 season following a torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and meniscus in his left knee, which he suffered during the College Park Skyhawks' training camp on Oct. 27, 2025.

Butler saw action in 27 games for Kentucky during the 2024-25 season, tallying career highs of 11.4 points, 4.3 assists and 2.9 rebounds, in addition to 1.6 steals in 26.0 minutes.
