Photo: Peter BabaNick Smith Jr. is leaving the NBA for Europe after agreeing to a one-year contract with Real Madrid.
The free-agent guard reached an agreement with the Spanish powerhouse, his agents Lucas Newton and Calvin Andrews of Klutch Sports told HoopsHype.
Smith spent his first three NBA seasons with the Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Lakers.
During that period, he averaged 7.6 points while playing 17.5 minutes per game.
