Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayOlivia Miles was unanimously voted the WNBA Rookie of the Year. The Minnesota Lynx guard, the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft behind Azzi Fudd of the Dallas Wings, averaged 19.8 points, 6.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds for the league's top regular-season team.
Miles was the only rookie selected to this year's All-Star Game, and she broke Caitlin Clark's record for most points by a first-year player.
Miles' production carried extra weight because Napheesa Collier missed the start of the season. Collier did not make her debut until mid-July after offseason surgery on both ankles.
Miles is the sixth Lynx player to win the award, joining Collier (2019), Crystal Dangerfield (2020), Maya Moore (2011), Seimone Augustus (2006) and Betty Lennox (2000).
